Every Husband Should Read This

“Love her …when she sips on your coffee or tea. She only wants to make sure it tastes just right for you.

Love her…when she “pushes” you to pray. She wants to be with you in Heaven.

Love her…when she asks you to play with the kids. She did not “make” them on her own.

Love her…when she is jealous. Out of all the men she can have, she chose you.

Love her…when she has annoying little habits that drives you nuts. You have them too.

Love her…when her cooking is bad. She tries.

Love her…when she looks disheveled in the morning. She always grooms herself up again.

Love her…when she asks to help with the kids homework. She only wants you to be part of the home.

Love her…when she asks if she looks fat. Your opinion counts, so tell her she’s beautiful.

Love her…when she looks beautiful. She’s yours so appreciate her.

Love her…when she spends hours to get ready. She only wants to look her best for you.

Love her…when she buys you gifts you don’t like. Smile and tell her it’s what you’ve always wanted.

Love her…when she has developed a bad habit. You have many more and with wisdom and politeness you have all the time to help her change.

Love her…when she cries for absolutely nothing. Don’t ask, tell her it’s going to be okay.

Love her…when she suffers from PMS. Buy chocolate, rub her feet and back and just chat to her (this works!).

Love her…when whatever you do is not pleasing. It happens and will pass.

Love her…when she stains your clothes. You needed a new shirt anyway.

Love her…when she tells you how to drive. She only wants you to be safe.

Love her…when she argues. She only wants to make things right for both.

Love her…she is yours. You don’t need any other special reason!!!
All this forms part of a Woman’s Character.

Women are part of your life and should be treated as the Queen.
• Treat the women well.
• The best of you are those who are the best in the treatment of their wives.”~*

BACK NINE. I FIRST STARTED READING THIS EMAIL & WAS READING FAST UNTIL I REACHED THE THIRD SENTENCE. I STOPPED AND STARTED OVER READING SLOWER AND THINKING ABOUT EVERY WORD. THIS EMAIL IS VERY THOUGHT PROVOKING. MAKES YOU STOP AND THINK. READ SLOWLY!

——————————————————————————–

AND THEN IT IS WINTER

You know, time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years. It seems just yesterday that I was young, just married and embarking on my new life with my mate. Yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all. I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams.

But, here it is – the ‘ back nine’ of my life and it catches me by surprise. How did I get here so fast ? Where did the years go and where did my youth go ? I remember vividly seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that ‘ I was only on the first hole’ and the ‘ back nine’ was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like.

But, here it is . . . my friends are retired and getting grey. They move slower and I see an older person now. Some are in better and some worse shape than me, but, I see the great change. Not like the ones that I remember who were young and vibrant . . . but like me, their age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we’d become. Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day ! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore . . . it’s mandatory ! Cause if I don’t on my own free will, I just fall asleep where I sit !

And so, now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things that I wish I had done but never did ! But, at least I know, that though I’m on the ‘ back nine’, and I’m not sure how long it will last, this I know for sure, that when it’s over on this earth . . . it’s over. A new adventure will begin !

Yes, I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn’t done . . . things I should have done, but indeed, there are many things I’m happy to have done. It’s Cialis Online all in a lifetime.

So, if you’re not on the ‘ back nine’ yet . . . let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do it quickly ! Don’t put things off too long ! Life goes by quickly. So, do what you can today, as you can never be sure whether you’re on the ‘ back nine’ or not ! You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life . . . so, live for today and say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember, and hope that they appreciate and love you for all the things that you have done for them in all the years past !

“Life” is a gift to you. The way you live your life is your gift to those who come after. Make it a fantastic one.

LIVE IT WELL !
ENJOY TODAY !
DO SOMETHING FUN !
BE HAPPY !
HAVE A GREAT DAY

Remember, “It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.

LIVE HAPPY IN 2013

LASTLY, CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

~Your kids are becoming you . . . but your grandchildren are perfect

~Going out is good . . . Coming home is better !
~You forget names . . . But it’s OK because other people forgot they even knew you !
~You realize you’re never going to be really good at anything . . . especially golf

~The things you used to care to do, you no longer care to do, but you really do care that you don’t care to do them anymore !
~You sleep better on a lounge chair with the TV blaring than in bed. It’s called “pre-sleep”.

~You miss the days when everything worked with just an “ON” and “OFF” switch..
~You tend to use more 4 letter words . . . “what ?” . . . “when ?”. . . ” ???
~Now that you can afford expensive jewelry, it’s not safe to wear it anywhere.

~You notice everything they sell in stores is “sleeveless” !
~What used to be freckles are now liver spots.
~Everybody whispers.
~You have 3 sizes of clothes in your closet . . . 2 of which you will never wear.

~~~But Old is good in some things ~~~ Old Songs, Old Movies, and best of all, OLD FRIENDS
Stay well, “OLD FRIEND ! ” Send this on to other “Old Friends!” and let them laugh in AGREEMENT
It’s Not What You Gather, But What You Scatter That Tells What Kind Of Life You Have Lived.
TODAY IS THE OLDEST YOU’VE EVER BEEN, YET THE YOUNGEST YOU’LL EVER BE, SO ENJOY THIS DAY WHILE IT LASTS. Remember how Liberace enjoyed playing with his brother George’s organ in his back nine.
Choose Wisely
Key Bible Verse: “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses …. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Dig Deeper: Proverbs 3
Life and death are major themes in the Book of Proverbs. The words “life” and “live” occur around 56 times in this book, and the words “death” and “die” around 20 times. And when we say that something is “a matter of life and death,” we mean that it matters above all else.
We sinners stray into the territory of death every day. But in the Book of Proverbs God is counseling us, alerting us to where death lurks. When the sage warns his son against sexual sin, for example, he says, “The dead are there” (Prov. 9:18, ESV et viagra equivalent al.). There is a hell before Hell. But there is also a heaven before Heaven. Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). Jesus said, “Because I live, you also will live” (John 14:19).
This is what God wants for every one of us today: to die less and live more through Christ.
There is a road, and there is a destination. The question is, where are we going with our lives? Everyone is on a journey. We can choose our own path, but we cannot choose our own consequences, our own destination. “In the path of righteousness [only] is life.”
—Ray Ortlund Jr. in Proverbs: Wisdom that Works
My Response: What are some ways I can “choose life” today?
We should live our lives as though Christ were coming this afternoon.—Jimmy Carter (39th president)
Here are six reasons why you should think
before you speak -the last one is great!
Have you ever spoken and wished that
you could immediately take the words back…
Here are the Testimonials of a few people who did….
DesktopLightning – Click Here For Free Traffic
FIRST TESTIMONY:
I walked into a hair salon with my husband and three
kids in tow and asked loudly,
‘How much do you charge for a shampoo and a blow
job?’
I turned around and walked back out and never went
back
My husband didn’t say a word…he knew better.
SECOND TESTIMONY:
I was at the golf store comparing different kinds of golf
balls.
I was unhappy with the women’s type I had been using.
After browsing for several minutes, I was approached by
one of the good-looking gentlemen who works at the
store.
He asked if he could help me.
Without thinking, I looked at him and said,
‘I think I like playing with men’s balls’
THIRD TESTIMONY:
My sister and I were at the mall and
passed by a store that sold a variety
of candy and nuts.
As we were looking at the display case, the boy behind
the counter asked if we needed any help. I replied, ‘
No, I’m just looking at your nuts.’
My sister started to laugh hysterically.
The boy grinned, and I turned beet-red and walked
away.
To this day, my sister has never let me forget.
FOURTH TESTIMONY:
While in line at the bank one afternoon,
my toddler decided to release
some pent-up energy and ran amok.
I was finally able to grab hold of
her after receiving looks of disgust
and annoyance from other patrons.
I told her that if she did not start behaving
‘right now’ she would be punished.
To my horror, she looked me in the eye and said
in a voice just as threatening,
‘If you don’t let me go right now,
I will tell Grandma that I saw you
kissing Daddy’s pee-pee last night!’
The silence was deafening after this enlightening
exchange. Even the tellers stopped what they were
doing generic cialis price compare.
I mustered up the last of my dignity and walked
out of the bank with my daughter in tow.
The last thing I heard when the door closed behind me,
were screams of laughter.
FIFTH TESTIMONY:
Have you ever asked your child a question too many
times?
My three-year-old son had a lot of problems with potty
training
and I was on him constantly. One day we stopped at
Taco Bell
for a quick lunch, in between errands It was very busy,
with a full dining room. While enjoying my taco,
I smelled something funny, so of course I checked
my seven-month-old daughter, she was clean.
The realized that Danny had not asked to go potty
in a while. I asked him if he needed to go,
and he said ‘No’ .. I kept thinking
‘Oh Lord, that child has had an accident, and
I don’t have any clothes with me.’ Then I said,
‘Danny, are you SURE you didn’t have an accident?’
‘No,’ he replied.
I just KNEW that he must have had an accident,
because the smell was getting worse.
Soooooo, I asked one more time, ‘Danny did you have
an accident ? This time he jumped up, yanked down his
pants,
bent over, spread his cheeks
and yelled
‘SEE MOM, IT’S JUST FARTS!!’
While 30 people nearly choked to death on their tacos
laughing,
he calmly pulled up his pants and sat down.
An old couple made me feel better, thanking me for the
best laugh they’d ever had!
LAST BUT NOT LEAST TESTIMONY:
This had most of the province of B.C. laughing for 2 days
and a very embarrassed female news anchor who will,
in the future, likely think before she speaks. What
happens
when you predict snow but don’t get any! We had a
female news anchor that, the day after it was supposed
to have snowed and didn’t, turned to the weatherman
and asked:
‘So Bobby, where’s that 8 inches you
promised me last night?’
Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew
did too they were laughing so hard!
The Perfect Man
Key Bible Verse: Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed. (Hebrews 12:2, The message)
Dig Deeper: John 1:19-34
If we mean to put forth definitions and examples of biblical manhood, shouldn’t we look to Jesus Christ? Of course we should. Jesus was the perfect man. He is biblical masculinity. Yet our Lord is rarely put forth as the prototype—even in Christian responses. We look to biblical figures like Moses, Elijah, or Boaz, but all these men point to Jesus. Or we look to historic figures known for various virtues, but many of these men didn’t even know Jesus. Jesus is greater than both.
Many insightful people have pointed out the challenges to masculinity coming at us from certain quarters—the cultural neutering of the American male, the Cialis pervasive contempt for masculinity, etc. We don’t have to go around apologizing for being men.
I’m grateful for all those who are willing to say it, but many who have warned against the [neutering] of men in the church have also failed to present an actual biblical remedy. For certain Jesus didn’t wear a skirt, but he didn’t brandish a Desert Eagle XIX either. Point is, either Jesus suffers from such overstatement that he ends up seeming more like Jack Bauer, or he’s never mentioned. I’m afraid in the end our response looks a little … well … childish.
—Byron Yawn in What Every Man Wishes His Father Had Told Him.
My Response: What lessons of courage and manhood can I learn from the life of Christ?
Thought to Apply: I love to hear my Lord spoken of, and wherever I have seen the print of his shoe in the earth, there have I coveted to put mine also.—John Bunyan (British writer)
The Illusion
Key Bible Verse: I find rest in God; only he can save me. (Psalm 62:1, NCV)
Dig Deeper: Psalm 62:5-8
A life out of control, a life spinning on the hamster wheel, and a life running on empty are all indicators that something is wrong. We want it all, but the problem is that the it keeps changing; the bar we have to jump over to succeed keeps getting higher, and then there’s the shame we wallow in when we fail. Something is missing.
Rhythm is missing. Rather than trying harder to do it all better, how can we rediscover a rhythm that is sustainable and life-giving?
Our problem with the famous verse from Ecclesiastes about there being “a time for everything” is that we want everything crammed into now, we simply do not like to wait for the next “time” to come around.
Have we forgotten who we are as human beings, created in the image of God and the very beloved of God? Do we have to live by a standard that robs us of our buying generic cialis souls as image bearers of God and lowers us to teeth-baring, annihilating creatures? This is the lie we’ve bought. It’s all an illusion.
Can you imagine your life with less stress, less fatigue, and less discouragement? How about more peace, more hope, and more joy?
—Stephen W. Smith in The Jesus Life
My Response: I will reflect on the two questions at the end of this reading. I will then consider what I might need to change in order to experience more peace, hope, and joy.
Thought to Apply: It does seem to me that at least some of us have made an idol of exhaustion. The only time we know we have done enough is when we are running on empty and when the ones we love most are the ones we see the least.—Barbara Brown Taylor (writer, professor)
Less Is More
Key Bible Verses: “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.” (Matthew 16:25, NIV)
Dig Deeper: Matthew 16:24-27
Consecration means we no longer call the shots. We give God veto power. His word is the final word, whether it’s Holy Scripture or the Holy Spirit. Either way, it’s no longer a selfish spirituality that asks God to serve our purposes. It’s all about serving his purposes so that his glory is revealed. Consecration is death to self.
I know there is a fear that if we give more of ourselves to God, there will be less of us left, but it’s the exact opposite. It’s not until we die to self that we truly come alive. The more we give to God, the more we have and the more we become. It’s only in losing our lives that we will really find them.
Sometimes prayer is a casual conversation with God. But sometimes prayer involves fedex generic viagra intense intercession, as it was for Jesus praying in Gethsemane on the eve of his crucifixion. It was so intense that Jesus was literally sweating drops of blood. He was facing the greatest test of his life on earth, so he prayed through the night. Three times he prayed a prayer of consecration: “My Father, if it is possible may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
—Mark Batterson in Draw the Circle
My Response: What aspects of my life do I still need to surrender to God?
Thought to Apply: Submission makes a person become more of what God wants him to be; it brings out individuality; it gives him the freedom to accomplish all that God has for his life and ministry.—Warren Wiersbe (preacher, writer)
